Onto the WPC World Championship………
Lindsey Lee, a commercial account manager at the Farmington Insurance Agency is on her way to Portugal. She has been selected as one of three women in her weight class to represent the USA at the 2015 World Powerlifting Congress Competition in Maia, Portugal November 9- 14th.
It began 4 ½ years ago when she decided weight bearing exercise was a means to increase bone density and ward off osteoporosis. Since that time, she has trained diligently and with ever increasing goals. In June, 2015 she entered her first competition at the APF RAW Nationals where she won 2 medals by lifting: 300 lbs. Squat; 165 lbs. Bench Press and 330 lbs. Dead Lift. Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that she qualified for the upcoming World Competition!
Lindsey has embarked on an incredible journey and has set her sights on setting a new world record or three, as she states. We are proud of this determined woman and wish her well.
